Webmaster and SEOGoogle On Another Antitrust Case
A company the size of Google never runs out of legal complaints. Just recently, a similar case Google is facing in Europe had been filed against them in Texas. Case in question is Google's business practices, and most of the complainants are saying that Google is using its influence and powers to put them out of business. Ironically, Google is suggesting that these complaints are orchestrated by Microsoft, another huge company which also battled the same legal cases in the past. A certain Foundem, a site-comparison site, accused Google of downranking them in a bid to hurt the company and put them out of business. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott contacted Google for the case. Aside from Foundem, Abbott also relayed two more antitrust cases filed by TradeComet and myTriggers, accusing the search company of the same evil practices to put them out of business. Google has confirmed that they will observe due process and will entertain such cases. "We look forward to answering their questions because we're confident that Google operates in the best interests of our users," said Google's Don Harrison. You can talk about...
