Webmaster and SEOAndroid on your Netbooks, Smart Phones and now, your TV
Google's Android operating system is usually associated with small gadgets, especially smart phones. However, there are a lot of companies who have used the Android on bigger devices such as mini laptops and netbooks or on ultra huge smart phones and tablets.
But the Android operating system will reach a new level either this year or the next. This is in accordance with the partnerships Google is gaining with its Android. Google has recently teamed up with Sony, Intel and lastly, Samsung for a new Android TV. Ordinary televisions have been turned into personal computers by either setting up tuners or through partnering with electronics and internet providers, which is a very expensive deal on the part of television makers. Putting Android on television will cut the cost for the TV makers because it is open-coursed and comes as a pre-made product, which will make enable them to concentrate more on the hardware than on the software. Samsung is the latest partner of Google to use the Android on a product they are developing. Rumors have recently spread over the internet that before the year ends, Sony will debut its first Sony Android TV. "We are considering (developing) Google TVs. We are examining the business feasibility of Google TVs," a Samsung executive said.
